Why are values wrapped in single quotes?

Single quotes are the safest way to pass a value through most shells without special characters (spaces, $, quotes, backticks) being reinterpreted. If a value itself contains a single quote, the generator escapes it automatically so the command still runs correctly.

Can I generate a file upload?

Yes. Switch the body type to "Multipart form", add a field, and check "File" — the value becomes the file path and the generator uses curl's -F name=@path syntax.

Is anything I type here saved or uploaded?
