How to annotate an image

Questions
- Are my images uploaded anywhere?
- No. The image and every annotation are drawn locally in your browser tab — nothing is sent to a server.
- What's a labeled arrow?
- Draw it like a regular arrow and a text box opens right at the starting point, so you can immediately label what you're pointing at.
- Can I change the color and style after drawing something?
- Yes. Select it with the select tool, then change color, shadow, stroke width, fill, or font size — the change applies live.
- Why would I turn on shadows?
- A drop shadow gives text and shapes contrast against busy or similarly-colored backgrounds, so annotations stay readable.
