Questions
- What Markdown features are supported?
- Headings (# through ######), paragraphs, bold and italic text, bulleted and numbered lists (including nesting), blockquotes, horizontal rules, and fenced code blocks (rendered in a monospace font with a light gray background) all convert cleanly. Images and tables are not rendered — this tool is focused on text-heavy documents like notes, docs, and READMEs.
- Is the output real, selectable PDF text?
- Yes. Each line is measured and drawn as an actual PDF text object with pdf-lib — you can select, search, and copy it like any normal PDF. It isn't a screenshot or rendered image of the page.
- Will code blocks keep their formatting?
- Code blocks are rendered in a monospace font (Courier) on a light gray background, preserving line breaks and indentation exactly as written. Very long lines that don't fit the page width are hard-wrapped to stay readable, since preserving code's exact line breaks matters more than preserving it unwrapped.
- Is my Markdown uploaded anywhere?
- No. Parsing (via the marked library) and PDF generation (via pdf-lib) both run as JavaScript in your browser — nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server.
