Questions

Does this handle quoted fields and commas inside values?
Yes. Parsing follows standard CSV quoting rules — a field wrapped in double quotes can safely contain commas, and values are split into proper columns in the resulting spreadsheet rather than breaking on every comma.
What does the output workbook look like?
A single-sheet .xlsx workbook named "Sheet1", with your CSV's rows and columns laid out as cells, values typed automatically (numbers become numeric cells, not text). There's no extra formatting, formulas, or styling applied — it's a clean, plain conversion.
Is there a row or file size limit?
No hard limit is enforced by the tool — it's bounded by your browser's available memory, since parsing and building the workbook both happen in a single pass in JavaScript. It comfortably handles typical spreadsheet-sized CSV files; multi-gigabyte files may struggle in any browser tab.
Is my CSV data uploaded anywhere?
No. The CSV is parsed and the .xlsx file is built entirely in your browser using the SheetJS library — nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server.
