Questions

Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Every image is decoded and re-encoded locally in your browser tab — nothing is sent to a server.
What formats can I compress?
Upload JPG, PNG, or WebP. Output is JPG or WebP, since both support the lossy compression that actually shrinks file size.
Can I compress more than one image at a time?
Yes. Add a batch of images, set a quality level, and compress them all at once — download each one or grab all of them as a zip.
Will compressing a PNG with transparency lose it?
If you choose JPG as the output, transparent areas are filled with white since JPG has no alpha channel. Choose WebP to keep transparency.
