No. The PDF is parsed entirely in your browser using pdf-lib — nothing is sent to any server.

Why are some fields blank?

PDF metadata is optional. Many PDFs are created without a title, author, or subject — the metadata dictionary exists but those fields are simply not set. This is common for documents exported from simple editors or print-to-PDF workflows.

What is the 'Creator' field?

Creator is the application that originally created the document (e.g. Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign). 'Producer' is the software that generated the final PDF file (e.g. Adobe PDF Library, Ghostscript).

What units are page dimensions shown in?

PDF stores dimensions in points (1 pt = 1/72 inch). This tool shows both points and millimetres. A standard A4 page is 595.28 × 841.89 pt (210 × 297 mm).
