Questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Every step — reading the page count, selecting pages, building the new PDF — happens in your browser using pdf-lib and PDF.js. Your file never leaves your device.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes. Toggle any combination of page buttons and the extracted PDF will contain exactly those pages, in their original order.
What happens to the original PDF?
It stays unchanged. The extractor builds a new PDF from a copy of the selected pages, so the original file is never modified.
Is there a page-count limit?
There's no hard limit imposed by the tool. Very large PDFs (hundreds of pages) may be slower to process because everything runs in-browser, but it will still work.
How is this different from PDF Splitter?
PDF Splitter is designed for splitting a document into sequential ranges or one-file-per-page. PDF Page Extractor lets you pick any arbitrary set of individual pages — ideal when you need pages 3, 7, and 12 from a 50-page document.
