RESUME BUILDER
Fill in your details, pick from 6 templates, and download a polished PDF resume. No account, no watermark — nothing leaves your browser.
Most free resume builders give you one download, then paywall the PDF, the rest of the templates, and any further editing. This one doesn’t — there’s no server rendering your resume, so there’s no subscription to cover. Everything from the live preview to the final PDF happens locally in your browser, autosaved as you go.

Questions
- Is this really free?
- Yes. There's no account, no paywall, and no watermark on the PDF. Everything runs in your browser, so there's no server cost tied to your usage that would need a subscription to cover.
- Where is my resume data stored?
- In your browser's local storage, on your device only. Nothing is uploaded — this tool makes zero network requests carrying your resume content.
- Can I use this on another device or back up my resume?
- Yes — use "Save JSON" to download your resume data as a file, and "Load JSON" to restore it in any browser. That's also the recommended way to back it up, since clearing your browser data would otherwise erase it.
- Is the PDF ATS-friendly?
- The Classic ATS template uses a single-column, plain-text layout designed to parse cleanly in applicant tracking systems. Other templates prioritize visual style and may be less ideal for automated parsing.
- Can I add a photo, or remove it?
- A photo is optional and off by default. Some regions (EU, LatAm) commonly include one on a CV; it's often discouraged on US/UK resumes. Add or remove it any time from the Contact section.
- Can I write section titles or content in another language?
- Yes. Every section title is editable — rename "Experience" to whatever fits — and all content fields are free text, so you can write your entire resume in any language.
- How is this different from resume.io or other resume builders?
- Sites like resume.io let you build a resume for free, but paywall the PDF download, most templates, and re-editing behind a subscription. This tool has no paywall at any step, because there's no server-side cost to cover — the PDF itself is generated in your browser, so every template and unlimited downloads are free.
- What file format can I download my resume in?
- PDF — a single US Letter page, or a second page automatically if your content runs long. DOCX export isn't available in this version.
- Can I edit my resume after I download the PDF?
- Yes. Your data autosaves in your browser as you type, so you can come back later, keep editing, and re-download. Use "Save JSON" for an explicit backup you can reopen on another device or browser.
- Does this tool score my resume or check it against a job posting?
- No — it's a builder, not an analyzer. It won't flag missing keywords or grade you against a job description; it focuses on producing a clean, well-structured PDF from what you write.
