GROUP SPLITTER
Paste a list of names and split them into random groups, either a set number of groups or a set group size. The shuffle runs locally in your browser, so your list is never uploaded.

Questions
- Is the split really random?
- Yes. Names are shuffled with a Fisher–Yates shuffle, which gives every ordering equal probability, and then dealt out to the groups.
- What if the names don't divide evenly?
- When splitting by number of groups, group sizes differ by at most one person. When splitting by group size, the last group may be smaller.
- How does it differ from Wheel of Names?
- The Wheel of Names picks one winner at a time. Group Splitter divides your whole list into teams in one step.
- Is my list uploaded?
- No. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is saved.
