Questions
- What is a bye?
- A bye is a free pass to the next round. When the number of entrants is not a power of two (4, 8, 16...), some first-round slots are empty and those opponents advance automatically.
- Who gets the byes?
- With seeding on (Shuffle off), the top seeds get the byes, as in standard tournaments. With shuffle on, seeds are random so byes go to random entrants.
- Can I change a result?
- Yes. Click the winner again to undo, or click the other player. Later rounds update automatically.
- Does it support double elimination or round robin?
- Not yet. This tool generates single-elimination (knockout) brackets.
